Meet Sense-ational You
Sense-ational You creates sensory-friendly clothing for kids with sensory differences (or just kids who hate scratchy tags!) Their products are crafted with features like flat seams, tag-free finishes, and hidden sensory tools to enhance comfort and independence. From sound-reducing hoodies to compression-lined shirts, each piece is thoughtfully made to support sensory regulation and inclusion.
This brand started as founder Julia DeNey’s final project at Cornell. I met Julia through an Entreprenista coffee chat and we clicked immediately. We ended up doing a Power Hour together and then a full SEO engagement. I was so thrilled to get to work with her on this project!
Our SEO Goal
After reviewing her competition in our Power Hour, we knew we had a strong chance of ranking for the BIG keywords in her niche. Our goal was to build a strong presence for her brand in Google, show up where her target audience is looking, and increase organic sales!
Our Strategy
The HelloSEO team went all out for Sense-ational You. We started with a big tech audit, made all the necessary fixes, optimized every page for her target keywords, created aggressively optimized product pages, wrote 4 blogs per month, and utilized digital PR to build backlinks. Here’s some of the highlights:
Digital PR
Our Digital PR Specialist created stories and buzz around Sense-ational You to get features in publications including MSN and Scary Mommy.
These features increased traffic and brand recognition and were great to share on social media.
They also created strong backlinks to Sense-ational You’s website, boosting their authority in Google.
Product Page Optimization
Product pages often have very thin content. Not Sense-ational You’s! We beefed up the product pages with tons of helpful, optimized content to help these pages rank in search and help parents learn about each product before purchasing.
SEO-Optimized Blogs
Sense-ational You’s clothing is all about solving a problem. We wanted the blog content to help parents discover the solution to their problems no matter where they were in their buying journeys.
We focused on interviewing experts to create blogs that were E-E-A-T-friendly and able to rank in searches.

The Results
Sense-ational You began ranking on the first page of Google for “Sensory-Friendly Clothing” within one month of working together. From there, it was all about increasing rankings and the number of keywords on the first page. By the end of our year working together, Sense-ational You had 132 keywords ranking on page 1 of Google, 38 keywords in position 1. They also had a 406% increase in organic traffic, 13 more DA (Domain Authority) points, and best of all, a 166% increase in sales from Google.
